Offices & Authorities – Security and Trust in Public Institutions

Government agencies and authorities face a particular challenge: they must be accessible and open to citizens, while at the same time reliably protecting sensitive data, valuables, and internal work areas. A customized security concept ensures that openness and security are not mutually exclusive. We offer solutions that both facilitate the daily work of employees and create transparency and trust for citizens.

Access control and/or mechanical locking system

Electronic access control systems regulate who has access to which areas. While waiting areas and citizen services must be freely accessible, archives, IT server rooms, cash offices, and staff areas may only be accessible to authorized employees. With digital systems, these authorizations can be precisely controlled and adjusted immediately as needed—for example, when an employee changes departments or an external company requires access.

Mechanical locking systems continue to play a role, especially for less sensitive areas or small branch offices. The combination of electronic access control and mechanical solutions creates a practical, cost-efficient system.

Video surveillance – protection for citizens and employees

Cameras in entrance areas, waiting areas, and outdoor facilities contribute significantly to security. They document incidents such as vandalism, assaults, or unauthorized entry and also have a preventive effect. Modern systems can be operated in compliance with data protection regulations and provide legally admissible evidence in the event of an emergency.

Video surveillance is particularly valuable in combination with access systems: this allows you to trace exactly who had access where and when, and how visitors moved around.

Alarm systems – comprehensive protection outside opening hours

Offices and public authorities are often unoccupied outside opening hours and therefore vulnerable to burglary, vandalism, or fire. A modern alarm system provides reliable protection with door and window contacts, motion detectors, and glass break sensors. Smoke or gas detectors can also be integrated to detect hazards at an early stage.

Alarms can be triggered flexibly via siren, push notification, or a control center. This ensures that a quick response is possible at all times, regardless of the size or location of the building.

Panic lock conversions & escape route security

Escape and rescue routes are essential in government buildings. In an emergency, citizens and employees must be able to leave the building quickly and safely. At the same time, it must not be possible for unauthorized persons to misuse these access points.

Panic locks and escape route security devices combine both requirements: they guarantee immediate evacuation in an emergency, but prevent manipulation from outside. In this way, fire safety regulations can be met while preventing unauthorized access.

Our conclusion – modern security for public authorities

With modern access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and escape route security, government agencies and authorities create a high level of security – for employees and citizens alike. The combination of openness and protection ensures trust and transparency and allows employees to concentrate fully on their tasks. Citizens feel well cared for, while internal processes run smoothly and securely.
