Access control (Salto Homelok)

Electronic access control is the modern alternative to locking systems. Residents lock doors using an app, chip, card, or PIN code, while property managers can flexibly adjust access permissions at any time.

Cost model (as of 2025):

  • Hardware per door (e.g., electronic fittings, cylinders, controls)
  • €3 per door/month for the cloud service
  • These costs are charged directly to residents or via the property management company as operating costs.
  • Users: any number – residents use smartphones, cards, or key fobs.
  • Offline components (e.g., basement, mailboxes) reduce the total costs.
